Copyright issues when transferring video tapes to DVD disk
By submitting a tape for transfer to DVD you are acknowledging that you are the copyright holder of the tape content or have the permission of the copyright holder.
What is copyright?
Copyright covers all feature films or videos that you have purchased from a shop. Even tapes such as a fitness video are normally covered by copyright, which is there to protect the people or organization that originally produced the video.
Material that you have recorded off the TV may also covered by copyright.
It is against the law for us to transfer copyrighted materials to DVD, so we are unable to copy this sort of material.
Our service is designed for transferring your home movies from tape to DVD disk. Do not ask us to transfer copyrighted materials, as we will not do it. Copyrighted material is normally marked with the copyright symbol ©.
